Website information
PRIVACY &
COOKIES.
How information is handled when you visit fvtvmedia.com or contact FVTV Media. Updated October 3, 2026.
Information you choose to send
When you email FVTV or use a linked signup or submission form, you may provide your name, contact details, links, work samples, answers or other material. FVTV uses that information to respond to requests, review submissions and applications, arrange coverage or services, and deliver the newsletter or issue alerts you select.
Forms on this site that open an email draft do not send the draft automatically. You review and send it through your email application. Newsletter signup opens MailerLite, and the linked pitch and submission forms open Notion; those services handle the information entered on their pages.
Analytics and Google services
This site uses Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the publication. Google services can receive the page address, IP address and information about your browser or device, and may set or read cookies and other identifiers. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
If Google AdSense advertising is activated on this site, Google and other advertising providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to serve and measure ads. Third parties may place or read cookies in your browser as a result of ad serving. Google explains these uses in its Privacy Policy and cookie information.
Cookies and information stored on your device
FVTV uses browser local storage to remember whether you have visited the Nia helper, your beta-directory role and saved profiles, and a rolling log of the latest 100 site interaction events. That log contains the action, page, time and related details such as a link destination. This local interaction log is separate from Google Analytics.
The Nia helper uses prepared replies in your browser. Its conversation stays in the current page session; it is not automatically sent to FVTV or an external AI service. The audio player's selection, volume and playback state also stay in the current session.
Where audience voting is enabled, a cookie remembers your vote for up to 90 days to limit repeat voting. Your selection is sent to the site's voting endpoint, which updates aggregate totals through CounterAPI.
Embedded media, shopping and external links
Pages may load embedded YouTube, Spotify or Bandcamp media, as well as magazine images supplied by MagCloud and its storage service. These providers receive requests from your browser and may use their own cookies or identifiers, including when an embed loads before you press Play. Site hosting services also receive the request information needed to deliver pages and files.
Magazine purchases, merchandise and service payments use external services such as MagCloud, Fourthwall and Stripe. Their pages, payment handling and privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Opening an external form, shop or media link takes you to that service.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can block or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings; doing so may reset remembered preferences. Google offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers and advertising settings. Private browsing alone does not prevent information from being sent to external services.
Use the unsubscribe option in a newsletter, or email FVTV with “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject to stop issue alerts. For questions about information you have sent, or a request to access, correct or remove it, email ceo@fvtvmedia.com. Include the relevant page or correspondence so FVTV can review your request. Publication-related privacy-removal requests can also use the corrections form.
